Ural city court sentenced to heavy fines former police officers

Ural city court of West Kazakhstan region verdicted of guilty against the police officers on the fact of taking a bribe.

The agreement was reached in the presence of E.Gabdullina and the security officer E. Belkenov in operational support of the case.

Ural city court found E.Gabdulina and E.Belkenova guilty on st.366 Part 3 of paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code (bribery group of persons by prior agreement), assigning each sentenced to a fine in the amount of 70 times bribe amount, i. e. 3.5 million tenge, with the confiscation of their property, with lifelong deprivation of the right to hold positions in local government and public bodies.

E.Gabdulin and E.Belkenov deprived special title "Police Lieutenant" and "senior lieutenant of police."

When determining the type and size of the punishment, the court took into account the nature and gravity of the offense, guilty plea and remorse of the accused.
