In Taldykorgan the judges of the Regional Court spoke at a briefing in the Regional Communications Service

At the Regional Communications Service of Almaty region there was a briefing of judges of the regional court Nurgul Aymhanova and Nurgul Zhekenova.

At the briefing, the judges informed the media representatives about the successful implementation of the reforms set out in Plan of Nation for the judicial system.

N.Aymhanova told that since the beginning of 2016 the courts have moved to the three-tier system of justice, increased requirements for candidates for judge. A draft of the new Ethical Code of Judges is developed, the adoption of which is planned at the VII Congress of Judges in the current year. In the course of the briefing, the judge explained about the innovations of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

N.Zhekenova in her speech noted that the region courts according to the rating of the Supreme Court are one of the leading in the country in the development and application of mediation. In order mediation courts of the region for 6 months of the current year considered 1286 court cases, including 795 civil cases and 491 criminal cases, while during the same period last year considered 373 cases. In Almaty region in the 37district akimats opened «Mediation officers", where region residents can turn to a mediator for help or advice.
