In Kokshetau the Regional Court and the Center for the development of mediation signed a Memorandum on mutual cooperation

At the past in the Akmolinsk Regional Court meeting the judges, professional and non-professional mediators, notaries, lawyers, akimat representatives and non-governmental organizations discussed the matters of development of mediation institute in the region.

At the meeting, the chairman of Akmolinsk regional court Nurgazy Abdikanov and director of the representation of the NGO "Center for mediation development in the Akmolinsk region," Askar Amirzhanov signed a Memorandum on mutual cooperation in the field of strengthening of interaction in the comprehensive development and active implementation of the institute pre-trial and out of court settlement of disputes and conflicts. 

N.Abdikanov thanked the meeting participants for their cooperation and noted that the local executive authorities actively support all initiatives of the regional court in order to promote reconciliation procedures. "Development of Mediation Institute is especially relevant today. Conciliation procedures institute, mediation, as a way of settlement legal disputes is essential in public life, as a region, and the state as a whole ", - he said.

The Akmolinsk Regional Court paid much attention to the development of mediation in the region: a mobile group to develop mediation institute is created, regularly published explanations in the media for the public on the application of mediation, together with local akimats open mediation offices in all districts and cities of the region, held meetings to discuss the matters of the application mediation. And as added N.Abdikanov, there is still much to be done and this work will be continued.

Chairman of the division for Civil Cases of the regional court Erlan Zhanadilov noted that in the legislation in detail itemized the scope of mediation application. For the development of mediation, in his opinion, it is necessary to conduct explanatory work among the population by the mediators, lawyers, prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.

Talking about the features of the mediation application, A.Amirzhanov noted that mediators in the country held more than 5,000 mediation procedures in which the courts have made a great contribution, while he said about the lack of work on the part of government agencies, DIA and CCES.

The meeting participants supported the signing of the Memorandum, and exchanged opinions on its implementation.
