In Katonkaragay District of East Kazakhstan region held "round table" on the topic "Promotion of conciliation procedures and their application in the civil, criminal proceedings"

Chairman of the East Kazakhstan regional court Doszhan Amirov spent Katonkaragay District "round table" on the topic "Promotion of conciliation procedures and their application in the civil, criminal proceedings."

The discussion was organized by the Regional Court and the Secretariat of the Assembly of Kazakhstan the Memorandum of mutual cooperation in the field of conciliation procedures.

The roundtable was attended by the Deputy Akim Bibigul Rakysheva, the president of the court number 2 region Askar Ali, Acting Chairman of the District Court Saduakasova Kabir, a spokesman for the branch of "Nur Otan" Gulbarshin Agazhaeva, akims of rural districts, the chairman of the Council of elders, mediators, notaries, representatives of governmental and non-governmental organizations.

While opening the meeting, B.Rakysheva noted the contribution to the development of the use of conciliation procedures in the region by the district court and wished success in their work.

D.Amirov pointed out that the courts of the region within 6 months of the year discontinued 446 criminal, civil 2202 and 1658 administrative cases, all - 4336 cases returned to state duty in the amount of 76,018,645 tenge. Pursuant to the Memorandum in all regional and equated courts of the region, local administrations, Houses of Friendship opened mediation offices, posted banners, held "round tables" and trainings. He stressed the need to more actively apply the conciliation procedure and explain to the population the advantages of using this institution.

The participants of the "round table" discussed the main points and on the use of mediation in accordance with the requirements of the new Code of Civil Procedure, which expanded the scope of conciliation procedures, enhanced mediation Institute, introduced the concept of participatory procedures.

The outcome of the "round table" between the Regional Court and the Governor of the district agreed to continue joint work on the development of the use of mediation.

At the completion of the chairman of the regional court urged akims of district and rural districts of the need to popularize mediation in particular among elderly people.
