In the Zhambyl regional court is summed up the courts work in 2015

Judge of the Supreme Court Shegenov Moryak, chairman of the Zhambyl regional court Rustem Alchinbaev, chairmen of judicial divisions and judges of the regional court took part in the past extended meeting work on courts outcome in 2015 took place in Zhambyl regional court.

Chairman of the judicial division for criminal cases of the regional court Nurmuhammad Abidov in his report noted that courts of the region in 2015 considered 1855 criminal cases against 2100 persons (in 2014 considered 1808 criminal cases against 2090 persons). In order of the appeal are revised 1151 judgments against 1261 persons (in 2014 - 836 judgments and decisions against 926 persons).

Chairman of the judicial division for civil cases Zhomart Rustembekov noted that in 2015 the courts of the region completed by proceedings 32,082 civil cases, of which 20 463 – judgment, on 81 - the decisions terminated on appeal and cassation (0.4%), changed 236 decisions (1.1%). In 2014 completed 33,109 cases, of which 22 842 - considered judgment passed, 86 - terminated (0.4%), 272 - changed (1.2%).

Chairman of the Committee on Judicial Ethics chairman of the specialized inter-district criminal court Azamat Tlepov addition to the results of the work done over the last year urged the judges to act in full compliance with all the requirements of the Judicial Ethics Code.

The judge of the Zhambyl regional court Meyrhan Atibekov informed on progress made in the consideration of complaints and appeals of citizens received on the judges’ actions.

The administrator of courts in the Zhambyl region Abdizhami Kulduysenov reported on  equipment of 59available in the region 63 courtrooms by audio and video recording system of trials with the possibility of an electronic recording and available for viewing by the participants of  the judicial process "Judicial office".

In his speech, the judge of the Supreme Court M.Shegenov paid great attention to the quality of chairmen work, investigative judges. He noted some of the shortcomings of the administration of justice of chairmen, judges of district and equated courts identified in summing up 2015, he called for their elimination. Having defined the objectives for 2016, he focused on the matters of formation in the quality of the judiciary.

Judge of the Supreme Court said about the implementation of the 11 steps of Plan of Nation to reform the judiciary, in particular the transfer of the Justice Institute under the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court., tightening qualification requirements and mechanisms for the selection of candidates for judicial office, strengthening the accountability of judges, a new Ethics of Judges Code development on through which citizens can appeal the actions of judges in the Judicial jury specially created under the Supreme Court.

M.Shegenov awarded state and departmental awards to judges and civil servants.

The judge of the specialized inter-district criminal court of Zhambyl region Samat Tolesbay, head of offices of the Zhambyl regional court and district court named after Turar Ryskulov Asel Dzhumatayeva and Gulnar Orymbekova are awarded the Medal of III degree "For faultless service" by the Order of the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
