In Shieli district court discussed innovations in codes

In Shieli district court of Kyzylorda region held a round table discussion on the new Criminal Code, the Criminal Executive Code and the Administrative Offences Code.

The event was attended by the Chairman of Shieli district court Erkinbek M.J., judges Tubekbaeva A. and G. Kurmanbaev, as well as representatives of prosecutors, legal profession, internal affairs, the criminal-executive system and representatives of tax administration of Shieli district.

At the meeting, the chairman of the district court Erkinbek M. noted that in comparison with the current legislation, in some articles, are envisaged more severe punishments for especially grave crimes, and for certain crimes are more humane.

District court judge A. Tubekbaeva acquainted with the requirements of the new Code of Administrative Offences noted that the period of administrative detention has been reduced from 45 days to 30, also facilitated the responsibility for administrative violations of women being pregnant or having children under the age of 14 years.

The round table participants discussed in detail the new changes and additions, and came to a consensus on the future work to educate and development of changes in legislation.
