Discussed the mistakes made at the direction cases to the court

Today, in the Inter-district criminal court of Akmola region held "round table" to discuss the issues arising when considering the cases on parole. On the reduction of the sentence in accordance with the Law, to terminate the compulsory treatment of drug and alcohol abuse, the establishment of administrative supervision and the substitution of the correctional institution.

The round table was attended by the chairman of the appellate judicial board on criminal cases Akmola region court Oskembekov S.M., chairman of the specialized inter-district criminal court Baimaganbetov S.G. court judges, prosecutors, law enforcement agencies, the Department of the correctional system, special institutions and regional Bar association.

The participants of the round table discussed the mistakes made by the bodies of the correctional system in the direction cases to the courts and proposed measures to improve the quality of work.

Since 2013, specialized inter-district criminal court in Akmola region hears on parole, on the sentence in accordance with Legislation, the establishment of an administrative oversight, the termination of compulsory treatment of drug addiction and alcoholism, the substitution of the correctional institution.

According to statistics for 2013 in the specialized inter-district criminal court just received 669 materials, 564 of them are considered, 79 returned cases. As of August 4, 2014 the court received 448 materials, 355 of them are considered, returned 53 cases.

Following the discussions were given recommendations bodies of execution of sentence to follow the requirements of criminal procedure, criminal law enforcement and regulatory decree of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the direction cases to the courts.
