The chief specialist of the fire service is convicted for acceptance of a bribe in Almaty

In the Zhetysu district court № 2 of Almaty is considered the criminal case against the chief specialist of the Emergency Situations Department of the Almalinsky district, appeared on charges of acceptance of a bribe.

Court found that R. Zhunisov, being a chief specialist in ESD of the Almalinsky district of Almaty, has revealed a number of irregularities when an unscheduled inspection of LLP "Tengiz-Service fire-technical security." For not bringing to an administrative responsibility the LLP administrator R. Zhunisov received from him 120 000 tenge as a bribe.   

In court, the defendant R. Zhunisov fully admitted his guilt and repented of his deeds.

By court sentence R. Zhunusov is found guilty of committing of a crime stipulated by Art. 366 p. 2 (acceptance of a bribe) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was sentenced to a fine of sixtyfold amount of the bribe, which is 7.2 million tenge.

The court confiscated the convicted property, and deprived him of the right to hold certain positions in the public service. He is also deprived of special rank of Major - Fire Service.

The sentence has not entered into legal force.
