The chairman of South-Kazakhstan regional court met with residents of Tolebi region

About 250 residents of Sarykrama village of Tolebi district came to the meeting with Nurserik Sharipov.

Speaking, Bukharbai Parmanov, akim of the district noted that the meeting participants are veterans, mediators, educators, culture and medicine workers, deputies of maslikhats and heads of district law enforcement authorities, journalists.

Speaking about the reforms in the judicial system in the light of the tasks set by the President before the judiciary corps, the chairman of the regional court focused on legal education. "Increasing the legal literacy of citizens is aimed at reducing the number of court disputes and is one of the main tasks of the judiciary authorities," he said.

The chairman of the regional court dwelt on the fulfillment by the courts of the orders following from the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan: "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: Global competitiveness", expressing readiness to answer all citizens questions. He noted the importance of the constitutional reform carried out, which increases the independence and responsibility of the Government and Parliament.

N.Sharipov drew attention to the implementation of Plan of Nation: the implementation of a new three-tier judicial system, tightening the system for selecting and promoting judges, reforming the Judicial Jury work, setting up a specialized division on investment disputes under the Supreme Court, the Academy of Justice and the International Council. It was noted that the investigative judges’ powers, the jury, and the participation of the prosecutor in civil cases have increased. Adoption of a new code of judicial ethics, implementation of new information technologies into the judicial process, including equipping all courtrooms with audio and video recording systems.

Pointing out to the high efficiency of the new laws, the chairman of the regional court, informed about the growth of three times the number of cases completed using conciliation procedures, including mediation. Participants of the meeting were demonstrated video clips about the implementation of new information technologies in the legal proceedings, in particular, the services work "Judicial office", "Torelik" and others.

N.Sharipov fully answered all the meeting participants’ questions.

At the end of the meeting, Akim of the district called the meeting a useful event for raising the population legal culture.
