Today the Chairman of the Supreme Court Zhakyp Asanov met with the Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Kazakhstan, Munkhtuya Altalgerel.

The parties discussed the priority areas of cooperation between the Supreme Court and UNDP for the near future.

Opening the meeting, Zhakyp Asanov stressed the relevance of the interaction of the highest judicial body and UNDP in the context of work on new projects of the Supreme Court. He focused on the ongoing UNDP comprehensive study of the Academy of Justice.

Speaking about the development of further cooperation, M.Altangerel expressed readiness of UNDP experts to join the preparation of new projects of the Supreme Court. This is a comprehensive survey of trial participants on the degree of satisfaction with the work of the courts, as well as exploring the possibilities of further expanding the use of conciliation procedures.

At the end of the meeting the parties once again stressed the need to continue joint work and expand cooperation.
