The Chairman of the Supreme Court met with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan

Today the Chairman of the Supreme Court Zhakyp Asanov held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Sultan Isa Al-Jaber.

In the course of the meeting, the sides noted the progressive cooperation of two countries judicial bodies and expressed confidence in the need for its further development.

Zh. Asanov informed about the Supreme Court's focus on increasing trust in justice and ensuring the rule of law, conducted active work on seven main areas of modernization of the judicial system.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court stressed Kazakhstan's interest in the experience of the UAE in the development of electronic legal proceedings, reducing the burden on the courts, simplifying the proceedings with the use of alternative methods of dispute resolution and improving the quality of the administration of justice.

In his turn, the Ambassador noted the possibility of a detailed study of the advantages of Smart Courts, the conduct of online trials, the courts activities at the International Financial Center in Dubai and the UAE courts during the upcoming visit to Dubai by a delegation of Kazakhstan judges.

In conclusion, the meeting participants expressed mutual readiness to expand joint actions in further promotion of cooperation between the two countries in the legal sphere.
