The chairman of the South Kazakhstan Regional Court N.Sharipov met with residents of the Kazygurt region

More than 300 people, including aul biys, veterans, mediators, educators and medical workers, heads of local executive and law enforcement authorities, journalists took part in the meeting.

Opening the meeting, the Akim of the Kazygurt district Tolegen Telgarayev expressed gratitude for its organization to the chairman of the regional court Nurserik Sharipov.

Speaking, the chairman of the regional court focused the audience's attention to the tasks set by the Head of the State before the judges and the course of their implementation. Quoting the positions voiced at the congress by the Head of the State, the chairman of the regional court noted the work done by the judges, the course of the judicial reform, stopped on the execution by the courts of instructions from the President's Message to the people of Kazakhstan: "The Third Modernization of Kazakhstan: Global Competitiveness."

In his report, Nurserik Karimovich drew attention to the main results of the practical implementation of the Plan of Nation "100 concrete steps": a new three-level judicial system was successfully implemented, the system for selection and career promotion of judges was significantly tightened, the work of the Judicial Jury was reformed, the Supreme Court established a specialized collegium for investment Disputes, the Academy of Justice and the International Council. It was also noted that the powers of the investigative judges, the jury, the participation of the prosecutor in civil cases, the adoption of a new code of judicial ethics at the VII Congress of Judges, the openness of the courts, the implementation of new information technologies in legal proceedings, including the complete equipping of all courtrooms with systems audio, video recording.

The chairman pointed out the high effectiveness of the law, demonstrating in practice the validity of the provisions of the new Civil Procedure Code and criminal law. According to him, last year around 60% of civil cases in the republic were considered in simplified procedure, the number of cases ended with conciliation procedures, including mediation, increased three-fold.

At the end of the report, participants were shown videos about the use of information technologies in the legal proceedings, in particular, the work of the services "Judicial office", "Torelik", etc.

N.Sharipov fully answered all the meeting participants’ questions.

In conclusion, Akim of the region thanked the chairman for an interesting report on the ongoing reforms in the judicial system and an explanation of the main provisions of the new Civil Procedure Code, stressing that this meeting is extremely useful for raising the population legal culture.
