In West Kazakhstan regional court discussed issues of corruption crimes

In West Kazakhstan regional court held a "round table" devoted to the issues qualification of actions of officials in the committing of corruption crimes.

In the work of the "round table" were attended by judges of the regional, city, district and equivalent courts, as well as representatives of the City Prosecutor's Office, Department of the Interior and the Financial Police region.

The Chairman of the appellate judicial board on criminal cases of regional court Mirambek Nagashybaev noted that in the first half of 2014 in the production of courts of the region were 27 criminal cases in this category. At the same time for 6 months of the current year by the courts of the region is considered with the sentencing of 24 criminal cases against 40 persons, 39 of them were convicted persons, 1 person is justified.

Of the 39 convicted in the first half of 2014 - 8 are police officers, 26 are public servants, and 5 are entrepreneurs.

The judge appellate judicial board on criminal cases of West Kazakhstan regional court N. Dildabekov stopped on the jurisprudence considering by courts for criminal cases on corruption crimes in the first half of 2014. "The study of jurisprudence and criminal cases showed that the bodies of preliminary investigation does not always correctly classified offenses committed by public officials", - noted N. Dildabekov.

Also on this issue with the report made ​​the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office, the Financial Police, and the Department of the Interior.

Summing up the "round table" participants have agreed on further cooperation on issues arising in the application of the law in qualifying the actions of officials in the committing of corruption crimes.
