There was a plenary session of the Supreme Court

Today there was a plenary session of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The participants of the meeting considered two issues: discussion of candidates for the post of chairman of the appellate judicial board of Almaty regional court and the approval of the form and describe the judicial robe.

On the first question on the alternative basis presented candidates for the vacant post of Chairman of the judicial board of Almaty regional court.

On the results of the discussion, the judges of the Supreme Court unanimously gave a positive opinion to two candidates – the Chairman of the Specialized Inter-district Military Court in criminal cases of Almaty city Sarsenov Sovethan Sakenuly and the chairman of Bostandyk district court number 2 in Almaty city Shamshiev Arman Dzhumabaevich.

According to voting results prepared corresponding resolutions of the plenary session of the Supreme Court and the conclusions to be sent to the Supreme Judicial Council. In accordance with the Constitutional Law "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan" the Supreme Judicial Council recommends given candidates for the appointment to the Head of the State.

On the second question on the need to replace the robe said at last in 2013 the Sixth Congress of Judges. By decision of the Congress of the Central Council of the Union of Judges held a discussion in the judicial community of a new model of the robe. The survey showed that all branches of the public association of Judges agree that the current style of robe needs to be improved. The judges commented on the inconvenience cut, received a lot of recommendations on the selection of fabrics.

Development of a new model of the robe carried designers training and production center "Assem-service" in Almaty Technological University, headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Light Industry and Design R.Zhilisbaeva.

Taking into account the world practice new robe is clothing trapezoidal silhouette, free-form, symbolizing impartiality, as well as emphasizing the status and authority of the judiciary. The design submitted by the robe is holistic, concise, seasoned in the color and style decision.

Judicial robe is one of the symbols of state power, which is intended to remind the judges, trial participants and to all who are present at the administration of justice, the special status of judges.

New sample robe was unanimously approved at the plenary session of the Supreme Court.

K.Mami requested to enter a new robe gradually as old wear. "The introduction of robe of the new sample should not require the allocation of additional funding from the budget," - noted the Chairman of the Supreme Court.
