Dear Kazakhstan citizens!

I congratulate you on the Day of the capital!

Astana - is one of the main achievements of our independence. It is a clear indicator of the economic, political and social progress of the country, demonstration the potential and possibilities of modern Kazakhstan and its people.

The new capital is an embodiment of idea of the First President of the country, the Leader of Nation Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev. It is indicator of his wisdom and strategic thinking, ability and will to make political decisions, to take responsibility for the future of the republic.

Today Astana has become one of the powerhouses of economic and infrastructure development of the country. Moving of the capital started a whole range of positive changes that have multiplicative value in various fields. It is worth noting the demographic processes, manufacturing, construction, culture, innovation, education and tourism

During the formative years the capital has often been the venue for major events that have, including global significance. They are Congress of World and Traditional Religions, the OSCE Summit, Astana Economic Forum, G-Global, anti-nuclear initiatives, Asiada. There will be created an international financial center Astana in the near future. There will host the exhibition EXPO in 2017 in the capital. All of this allows Kazakhstan to declare itself on a global level as a modern established state, and make the contribution to the development of international relations. 

On this day, I wish Astana prosperity and further development! All Kazakhstanis strong health, happiness, prosperity and success in your work for the benefit of the Republic of Kazakhstan!
