I congratulate you on the New Year 2016!

The past year has been filled with bright achievements in political and economic life of the country. Our country celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate. Kazakhstan has become a full member of the World Trade Organization.

In 2015, President Nursultan Nazarbayev has initiated wide-ranging reforms within the framework of Plan of Nation "100 concrete steps - the modern state for everyone." This is a new stage in the development of the republic, whose main goal is inclusion of the world’s 30 most competitive countries.

It is gratifying to note that in Plan of Nation considerable attention is paid to the reform of the judicial system. It says about the special role of courts in the future development of the country.

This year, all the tasks performed by the Supreme Court are implemented at the appropriate time and at an appropriate level. The necessary legislative framework is created, introduced a three-tier system of justice, hardened qualification requirements for the selection of judges, and reorganized the Supreme Judicial Council. A special place in these achievements takes adoption of new Civil Procedure Code.

All this is done through teamwork and skillful work of judges, employees of the Supreme Court and the offices of courts.

In the New Year we are waiting for more important tasks. It will begin the practical implementation of all innovations in courts work. I am confident that the judicial system, as well as all people of Kazakhstan, adequately cope with all the challenges and will be able to further develop our country.

Let in 2016 every home there is peace and well-being, wealth and prosperity. Let everyone will be successful in all his endeavors - for the prosperity of our great Motherland - the Republic of Kazakhstan!
