The chairman of the Supreme Court Kayrat Mami held conference call with regions

Today the Chairman of the Supreme Court Kayrat Mami held conference call with regions. By means of a video conferencing chairmen and judges of supervisory judicial boards of the Supreme Court, regional courts, an administrative board of Department under the Supreme Court and offices of local courts took part in action.

There was considered a number of practical issues of work of judicial system at the meeting.

The first issue of the agenda concerned preparation for carrying out the regional conferences devoted to celebration of the 550 anniversary of the Kazakh khanate.

K. Mami paid attention of organizers of conference to need of in-depth discussion of questions of formation of the Kazakh khanate through a prism of formation of legal system and biys court, and also disclosures of their role in protection of interests of the population and the state. On the matter there were listened to reports of chairmen of Kyzylorda, Southern Kazakhstan, Akmola, East Kazakhstan regional courts and court of Almaty city.

The second issue concerned of a work of the courts for carrying out early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. "Considering social and political importance of the held event, I ask to treat consideration of the applications and the filings during the election period very attentively and to provide pronouncement of the lawful and reasonable decisions meeting standards of a substantive and procedural law", - K. Mami told.

Also he reminded that "the statements for violations of the elective legislation coming to courts are subject to consideration in five-day time, and arrived less than in five days prior to vote and in the voting day – immediately".

Further at conference call issues of the organization and carrying out the actions devoted to the 20 anniversary of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War were considered. "The far-sighted and weighed policy of the Head of the State created the special tolerant welfare environment excluding the interethnic and interfaith conflicts to what representatives of 28 ethnoses working in judicial system" indicate in the Kazakhstan judicial community, - K. Mami noted.

During the meeting chairmen of local courts reported on preparation for celebration of these anniversaries. In particular, now courts for veterans of the Great Patriotic War, home front workers and judicial system hold a number of festive events, and also the charity event "Ardagym — Ardagerim" is realized.

Besides, K. Mami charged to consider possibility of allocation of financial assistance to veterans of the Great Patriotic War, to employees of judicial system and rendering the targeted social assistance help to them.

The chairman of the Supreme Court noted that, all above-named events on places have to be held at the high organizational level and in a festive atmosphere.

For today courts of the republic already fulfilled the first reporting period of quarter of the current year in the conditions of the updated criminal and criminal procedure legislation. Conceptually new editions of these laws are connected with more effective protection of constitutional rights of citizens. There are first results, certain jurisprudence is acquired, and problematic issues are revealed. The chairman of supervisory judicial board on criminal cases of the Supreme Court A. Rakhmetulin told about the issues connected with application of codes by courts, including works of investigative judges.

Also at conference call the issue of the course of formation of the Unified Classifier of categories of affairs in “Torelik” system was considered. The Head of Department on ensuring activity of the courts under the Supreme Court I. Ispanov reported on given question.

Finishing conference call K. Mami set for the judiciary a number of the tasks of realization of system measures for high-quality improvement of judicial protection of the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.
