Violation of the state border

A citizen of the Republic of Belarus for illegal crossing of the state border of Kazakhstan is instituted criminal proceedings.

It was established in court, a foreigner without specifying documents and proper permission crossed the Kazakhstani border near the village Kamysty, Zhanybek district of West Kazakhstan region.

At the hearing the defendant told that after passing the cities of Russia he got Volgograd, where he determined on map the shortest route to Kazakhstan because he wanted to get a job in the temple.

Zhanybek district court found the foreigner guilty on committing an offense under paragraph one of Article 330 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and sentenced him punishment in the form of a fine of 200 MCI.

The sentence has not entered into force.
