October 30, 2016 in the city of Shymkent was held Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the duathlon (running, cycling, running) among professionals and amateurs - «ALTYN ADAM DUATHLON 2016".
The event was organized by the Triathlon Federation of Kazakhstan with the support of Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The purpose of the Open Championship was the popularization and further development of cyclic sports in the Republic, promotion of healthy lifestyles among the population and improving the skills of sports participants. The peculiarity of the Championship is in that it involves both professional athletes and amateurs.
More than 100 fans of this sport from many cities of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part in the competition. These are representatives from Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Semey, Taldykorgan and Shymkent.
Active participation in the championship took a team of judges led by the chairman of the South-Kazakhstan regional court Nurserik Sharipov. The team included the judges of the regional court M.Parmenov, A.Alshynbaev, A.Toksanbaev and V.Miroshnikov, as well as judges of district courts of the city of Shymkent A.Dusaliev, M.Sharipov, K.Izbasarov and A.Medeubekova.
In the duathlon, as a rule, there are no winners and losers, but there are those who have tested their strength and went the full distance. This run 5 km, cycling 20 kilometers and then re-run 2.5 kilometers. Competitions were held, despite the difficult weather conditions (pouring rain).
Following the results of participation in competitions in the age category 50-59 years, the chairman of the regional court Nurserik Sharipov took second place, winning the silver medal of the championship.
Judges of SKR systematic work to promote a healthy lifestyle, regularly taking part in various competitions and has taken the initiative of holding. One of the last significant sports events was a bike ride, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the VII Congress of Judges, which took place September 10, 2016. Route Bike Ride - between Shymkent and Turkestan with a distance of 180 kilometers.
