Judges of Almaty region discussed the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan via videoconferencing.

In the course of the meeting, the chairman of the regional court Meirambek Timerdenov stressed that the main task of the President's Address is the implementation of the Third Modernization of the country - Global Competitiveness. "This modernization is not a plan to combat current global challenges, but a reliable bridge to the future, towards the goals of Strategy-2050". It will be conducted on the basis of Plan of Nation "100 concrete steps" and consists of five main priorities.

The first priority is the accelerated technological modernization of the economy, the second is the cardinal improvement and expansion of the business environment, the third is macroeconomic stability, the fourth is the improvement of the quality of human capital, the fifth is the institutional transformation, security and the fight against corruption.

In the course of the discussion, the judge of the regional court Nurgul Zhekenova noted that the state is carrying out reforms aimed at protecting private property, the rule of law and ensuring the equality of everyone before the law. "Administrative and criminal legislation should be humanized. Administrative fines must be fair and proportionate to the committed offense. It is necessary to carry out further work to reduce sanctions for violations in the business sphere. It is necessary to decriminalize economic structures with a low degree of public danger. It is necessary to increase the confidence in the judicial system. It is important to exclude any undue influence on the judges’ activities, "N.Zhekhenova said.

Also, the judge of the regional court N.Aimkhanova and the chairman of Taldykorgan Administrative Court N. Karabaev delivered reports.

The President's Address plays an important role in the future development of Kazakhstan, therefore, the country, guided by this address, will certainly achieve great success in implementing Strategy-2025 on the third modernization of the country called "Kazakhstan's National Technology Initiative".
