The appeal of M.Umiryaev’s lawyer is left without satisfaction

Today the court of Astana city left without satisfaction the appeal of lawyer of former vice-minister of Agriculture Muslim Umiryaev passed on October 16, 2014 sentence of the Specialized inter-district court on criminal cases of Astana city.

We would remind you that according to the above mentioned sentence Muslim Umiryaev was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 5 of Article 311 of the Criminal Code RK, that is, acceptance of a bribe. He was sentenced to 10 years' imprisonment with confiscation of property, to serve punishment in a penitentiary settlement of a strict regime.
