There was a meeting of the mentors Council with young judges in the Akmolinsk Regional Court

The chairman the Judicial division for Civil Cases of the Akmolinsk regional court Erlan Zhanadilov chaired a meeting of the mentors Council with the young judges with experience of 1 up to 3 years.

Young judges’ mentors are the chairmen and judges of local courts, and young judges’ mentors with experience up to 1 year appointed judges of the regional court.

At the meeting the young judges informed on interim and final reports on the number of considered cases, the quality of administration of justice, the work of media relations, professional development and self-education. Each report is discussed by the members of the meeting to hear the views of mentors and tutors. In the review mentors noted the quality of drawing up the judicial decisions, work indicators, and discussed weaknesses in the work of some young judges.

In particular, E.Zhanadilov paid special attention to judges’ qualitative indicators and asked questions about considered cases and approved changes and cancellations of judicial acts, found matters of complexity in the work of a young judge.

According to the final report four young judges with the experience of judicial work for 3 years received positive responses. The Council offered to transfer them from the category of young in the status of independent judge for presentation to them of more stringent requirements. The remaining 20 people have the experience of judicial work from 1 to 2 years.

Following the discussion, E.Zhanadilov instructed the young judges to take all suggestions and comments into consideration, wished them constantly improve themselves, to educate themselves, to study the changes in the current legislation in order to avoid miscarriages of justice and violations of the law.
