In Taraz city court discussed issues the application of mediation

In Taraz city court held a round table discussion on the practical application of mediation. The event was attended by judges, professional mediators, lawyers and attorneys of the city.

In April of the current year, the Supreme Court has launched a pilot project "Judicial mediation". So, for example, judges of Taraz city court since the start of the project was considered 30 cases, 19 of which resulted in the signing of mediation agreements.

The main categories of cases ended judicial mediation are property damage as a result of an accident, divorce, alimony for the maintenance of minor children, as well as moral damage.

Within the round table participants discussed issues of cooperation between lawyers and professional mediators to resolve the dispute in the mediation procedure, as well as identifying the facts of the interest participants of civil turnover in non-judicial settlement of conflicts and disputes.
