Supreme Court continues remote training of judges

Within the framework of implementation of the local courts judges’ remote training program for 1st half of the year 2015, as well as advancing of qualification of judges, the Supreme Court continues mass requalification of judges.

One form of the training activities is the remote training of judges via video lectures. Technology of remote training allows attracting the maximum amount of trainees without requiring them to leave their places of residence; this method saves time of the judges significantly and lower material costs for implementation of training.

Today, by way of videoconference with regional and equivalent courts, was conducted a lecture on “Appeal against actions (inaction) of an officer of the court performed during implementation of the resolution”. Lecture was delivered by the judges of the Supreme Court Odintsova M. V. and Sisenova N. U.

In the course of the lecture, the judges of the Supreme Court have explained the matters of hearing of cases concerned with appeal against actions of the officers of the court. They told about the results of generalization of this category of cases, performed in 2014, about the absence in the local courts of homogenous practice of ruling of jurisdiction, application of terms of claims and complaints filing, application of the law during resolution of matters concerned with execution against property and consideration of disputes related to valuation of property. Judges of the local courts were informed about the recommended methodology of consideration of such category of cases developed by the Supreme Courts based on the outcome of the regional seminars, conducted this year.

Judges of the local courts gained an opportunity to receive on-line answers to questions on implementation by courts of material and procedural law applied during consideration of the abovementioned category of cases.
