Stay term under house arrest against Serik Akhmetov is extended

Today Kazybekbiy district court of Karaganda city considered the petition for extension of term of stay under house arrest against Akhmetov Serik Nygmetovich during acquaintance with criminal case file.

Serik Akhmetov is accused according to the Art. 176 p. 4, the item “b” (conversion or embezzlement, that is theft of another's property), the Art. 311 p. 5 (acceptance of a bribe), Art. 307 p. 4 (abuse of official powers), Art. 310 p. 3 (illegal participation in the entrepreneurial activity) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The preventive measure in the form of house arrest is extended by the decision of April 13, 2015 till 23:00 p.m. on May 18, 2015.
