Investigative judge sanctioned the arrest

Investigative judge of the Zhaksynsky district court of the Akmolinsk region considered the DDIA investigator’s petition on sanctioning of preventive measure in the form of detention in the custody against Bagdat Batenov. He is suspected of committing a crime stipulated by Article 99 of part 1 of the Criminal Code of RK , i.e., murder.

Investigative judge sanctioned the preventive measure in the form of detention in the custody for a period up to 2 months against B.Batenov. This is due to the especially gravity of the crime in which he was suspected, for which the law prescribes a punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a period exceeding 12 years. And such circumstances, as a negative characteristic from the place of residence, criminal record and B.Baytenov’s refusal to testify.
