Sentencing of former rural district mayor

In the Ili district court of Almaty region considered a criminal case against the former mayor Mezhdurechenskiy rural district K.Bazarbaev.

From the case materials that K.Bazarbaev personally gave a bribe to the officer of anti-corruption service, not for material in the direction of the disciplinary council for illegal allocation of the same land for individual housing construction two citizens.

Court sentence of 29 July 2015, K.Bazarbaev found guilty under Article 367 part 2 of the Criminal Code (bribery). He was sentenced to a fine in the amount of 44,611,200 tenge with confiscation of privately owned property, with a lifetime disqualification to hold public office and local government.

The verdict of the court has not entered into force.
