Judicial corps has started realization of the tasks set by the Head of State at the VII Congress of Judges

Judges of the North-Kazakhstan region took part in a briefing during which they informed the journalists about the outcomes of VII Congress of Judges and told about the basic indicators of the administration of justice for the 11 months of 2016.

The chairman of the regional court Erlan Aitzhanov, chairman of the division for Civil Cases of the Regional Court Bakhit Kaseinov, chairman of the judicial division for criminal cases Vladimir Kirilenko took part in the event as speakers.

E.Aytzhanov told about the tasks set by the Head of State before the judicial corps of the country in the course of VII congress of judges. He informed that the delegates of the congress discussed and unanimously adopted a new Code of Judicial Ethics. The new Code revised rules and regulations governing the ethical basis of judicial conduct in their professional activities, the society, the family and the home. There are 15 articles in the Code, which prescribed ethical rules of the judicial corps.

"Judicial corps has started realization of the tasks set by the Head of State at the VII Congress of Judges, which certainly gave a new impetus to improving the judicial system", - E.Aytzhanov stressed.

Chairman of the judicial division for criminal cases V. Kyrylenko told about the main indicators of the administration of justice in criminal cases. He noted that one of the priorities of the courts is to reduce the time frame for consideration of criminal cases and cases in a shortened manner. Thus, during this period in a shortened manner the region courts considered the 418 cases or 21.4%.

In addition, in order of mediation considered 533 criminal cases or 27.3% of the total for completed cases.

The chairman of the judicial division B.Kaseinov told on the administration of justice in civil cases. He stressed that for the first 11 months of 2016 the region courts in order of simplified order considered more than 50% civil cases of the number of ended. Particular attention is paid to pre-trial settlement of disputes - conciliation, mediation, participatory procedure, which for the first time in the republic it has been applied in our region. During the first 11 months of this year with the use of conciliation procedures considered 1466 civil cases, or 15.2% of the completed cases in action proceedings, while the plaintiffs returned paid state fee to the budget in the amount of 70 million tenge. Over the past three years, the trend towards improving the quality of administration of justice in civil cases. It should be noted that of the 20 district and equivalent courts considering civil matters, 13 courts following the results of the 11 months 2016 have not been terminated and changes of court acts.
