Decision on authors of poster Kurmangazi and Pushkin is left unchanged

Today in the appellate instance of Almaty city court considered the administrative case against the creators of a poster with the image of kissing S.Kurmangazy composer and poet A. Pushkin.

After reviewing the case, the court found that the advertising agency Havas Worldwide Kazakhstan, created the poster violated Part 1 Article 349 of the Administrative Code, envisaging responsibility for the production, distribution, placement and use of advertising of the products (works and services), banned to advertising in Kazakhstan.

According to the decision of the appellate instance of Almaty city court ruling specialized inter-district administrative court of Almaty city is upheld: Advertising agency Havas Worldwide Kazakhstan and its leader D.Hamitzhanova found guilty of an administrative offense under Part 1 Article 349 Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offences and subjected to an administrative fine of 170 MCI.
