Rustem Myrzakirim during a working trip to the region visited Bayzak District Court and District Court T. Ryskulov, where he held a reception of citizens.
The judges of the regional court Meirkhan Atibekov and Ardak Aketayev took part in the event.
Seven residents of the T. Ryskulov district and five from Baizak district applied with interested issues at the reception to the chairman of the regional court. The appeals concerned the issues of obtaining identity documents, the provisions of the Law "On Mediation", the recognition of ownership of immovable property, consideration of marriage, family and land disputes. All the applicants received complete answers to their questions.
R.Myrzakarim also explained the essence of the ongoing reforms in the country aimed at the formation of a rule-of-law state, the creation of an independent judiciary, and the advantages of pre-trial settlement of disputes to citizens.
As part of the trip, the chairman of the commission on judicial ethics, a judge of the regional court Meirkhan Atibekov held a seminar-meeting with judges and court staff on ethical issues. Speaking he noted that judges and civil servants are required to demonstrate and promote high standards of behavior in order to strengthen citizens' trust in the court. M.Atibekov drew attention to the observance by judges and employees of courts of laws and the Ethics Code, the Code of Judicial Ethics, generally accepted norms of morality.
