Astana City Court held a workshop "Fundamentals of mediation for settlement disputes and conflicts. Mandatory pre-trial settlement. "
The speaker of the seminar was the President of the International Human Rights Center, the international mediator of the Economic Court of the CIS, the General Director of the Association of Mediators of Kazakhstan, Zhandilda Zhakupov.
Judges, representatives of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, departments of education and labor, the Chamber of Notaries, the Center for the Development of Mediation, the Bar Association took part in the discussion of the application conciliation procedures.
Speaking, the judge of Astana city court Gulzhanat Rakhmetova noted the development of conciliation procedures as a priority for improving existing mechanisms for settling disputes and protecting the violated rights of citizens. The CPC has a duty to fulfill, not only mediators, but also judges, as well as lawyers, to carry out reconciliation. The adoption of measures for the reconciliation of parties and assistance in resolving the dispute at all stages of the judicial process stem from the tasks of civil proceedings.
Gulzhanat Rakhmetova also explained the goals and provisions of the pilot project of the Supreme Court on the implementation of mandatory pre-trial settlement of disputes (conflicts) in certain categories of disputes in the order of mediation. "
Speakers, speaking, aimed to popularize the institution of mediation and conciliatory procedures for the amicable settlement of conflicts, reducing conflict and maintaining social stability and social harmony, to implement the pilot project of the Supreme Court.
At the end of the event, the participants exchanged views and practical experience.
