In Astana there was a meeting of the Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan

The highest judicial authority of Kazakhstan visited the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Tajikistan Shermukhammad Shohien. Within the framework of the visit there was a meeting with Kairat Mami, under which the two sides exchanged information on the current work of the two countries judicial systems.

For Mr. Sh.Shohiena was conducted an excursion at the Supreme Court building. Particular emphasis is placed in the court rooms, the plenary sessions and the video conferencing system, the history of the building construction, its infrastructure and technical features. The possibilities of new information technologies applied in the courts to focus on specific targets to increase openness and accessibility of justice.
