The Astana City Court held a workshop for judge conciliators themed "Mediation Techniques for civil cases".

The Deputy Head of the Department for the Provision of Courts’ Activity under the Supreme Court Assiya Kassenova, member of the Supreme Judicial Council, national expert in the field of mediation Balgul Raisova, professional mediator of the Mediation Development Center Zhanna Inkarbekova, as well as Judges of Astana attended the event.

An interregional workshop on the work of investigating judges was held in the Astana city court.

The workshop was attended by the chairman of the Judicial Board of Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court Abai Rakhmetulin, judges of the Supreme Judicial Body Askarzhan Kenzhegarin, Gulnara Mergenova, Yerzhan Dauliyev, the chairman of the city court of Astana Tlektes Barpibayev and investigating judges of the republic.

The workshop was held in order to improve the quality of the work of the investigating judges.

The Zhambyl Regional Court held in Merke district court training workshop "Judicial mediation" for young judges of five district courts, coordinating conciliation procedure.

The judge of the Zhambyl regional court D.Nurlybaeva and director of the Mediation Center and Law "Parity", a professional mediator K.Danabaeva conducted the workshop.

In Akmola regional court was held a workshop for chairmen of district and equated districts courts.

Today in Astana in “Kazzhol” hotel there began the work of the two-day workshop on: "Interaction of judicial system with mass media and a role of press secretaries". This action is organized by the Supreme Court together with Office of programs of OSCE in Astana and the International Fund of protection of freedom of speech "Adil soz".
