Sentence of the first instance court concerning the ex-director of BS of the NSC RK Dzhulamanov N. A. is upheld

Today the appeal criminal judicial board of Military court of the Republic of Kazakhstan upheld a sentence of specialized inter-district military court on criminal cases of Astana City concerning the ex-director of the Border Service of the NSC of Kazakhstan Dzhulamanov Nurlan Aytmanovich.

N. Dzhulamanov and K. Balmagambetov were accused that as a part of an organized criminal group by extortion got bribes in the form of money in especially large scale from representatives of commercial structures for illegal actions, that is, for the general protection when carrying out government procurements of goods, works and services for needs of BS of the NSC RK. In total from summer of 2013 till August, 2014 the organized criminal group created and directed by N. Dzhulamanov received money in the form of bribes for the total amount of 173 181 750 tenge and 436 000 US dollars.

By the sentence of the first instance court dated 6th of March 2015 N. Dzhulamanov is found guilty according to the Art. 235 ch.3, 366 ch.4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Sentence of 11 years of the imprisonment, with confiscation of property which is personally belonging to him or the being share in the general joint property with lifelong deprivation of the right to hold responsible and senior positions in public service, with serving of punishment in a penitentiary settlement of a strict regime is imposed to him.
