The sentence on charges of acceptance of a bribe

Uralsk city court considered the criminal case on the fact of acceptance of a bribe by the head of the Office of State Revenue of Uralsk city T.Dzharmagambetov.

According to the materials of the criminal case, in mid-July 2015 head of excises administration of the Office of State Revenue of Uralsk city T.Dzharmagambetov received a bribe from a citizen B. in the amount of 195 000 tenge for the free passage of vehicles with excisable goods.         

By court verdict T.Dzharmagambetov is found guilty of committing of a crime stipulated by Art. 366 p. 2 of the Criminal Code RK. He was sentenced to a fine of sixtyfold amount of the bribe, i.e. 11.7 million tenge with confiscation of property.

He also deprived of the right to hold positions in local government and public bodies for life.

The sentence has not entered into legal force.
