Uralsk city court passed a sentence on bribe giver

Uralsk city court passed a sentence on the criminal case against the manager of LLP «KazCargoCustoms» A.Ensapov. He is accused of giving a bribe to the former head of the regional department of property and privatization Zh.Serikopov. The bribe sum for premises treaty extension made 60 thousand tenge.

By Uralsk city court verdict, A.Ensapov is found guilty of committing of a crime stipulated by Art. 367 part 1 of the Criminal Code RK. He was imposed a punishment in the form of a fine in the amount of twentyfold sum of bribe, i.e. 1 200 000 tenge, with confiscation of property belonging to him. The court also deprived A.Ensapov lifelong right to hold positions in state bodies.

The sentence has not entered into legal force.
