Public procurement contract is declared invalid

Inspection of financial control of Akmola region filled a claim to the Department of construction of Shortandy district and to LLP "European standard-Aqua" to invalidate the agreement on public procurement, on the grounds that the public procurement of works on reconstruction of water supply systems and laying on water supply in the village Bozaygyr of Shortandy district held violation of the legislation. According to Inspection of financial control, recruited by the potential supplier subcontractor LLP "Management engineering" did not meet the qualification requirements, therefore, the competitive bid "European standard-Aqua" subject to deviation.

According to the Law "On Public Procurement" qualification requirements also apply to physical and juridical persons, which a potential supplier provides to recruit as subcontractors to perform work.

In addition, the subcontractor LLP "Management engineering" has not provided full documents for compliance with the qualification requirements.

Today, by Specialized Inter-district Economic court of Akmola region claim was satisfied. The court invalidated the agreement on public procurement concluded between the Department of construction and LLP "Aqua-Euro standard."

The court's decision does not come into force.
