Judges of the Karaganda region discussed the matters of development of juvenile legal proceedings

The specialized inter-district juvenile court of Karaganda region held a practical conference "Juvenile justice - formation and development".

Judges, representatives of law enforcement agencies, the department of guardianship and trusteeship, the scientific sphere, as well as the press took part in the forum.

Opening the work, the chairman of the judicial division for civil cases of the Karaganda regional court Zhanna Seidalina noted the effectiveness of the juvenile court activity, in general juvenile justice.

In their reports, the judges summed up the results of the juvenile court activity over the past five years, raised topical issues of the further development of juvenile legal proceedings.

In the course of the conference they discussed issues of the impact of international law on the Kazakhstan model of juvenile legal proceedings, the interaction of juvenile courts with state authorities and non-governmental organizations, and juvenile justice in the Karaganda region.

They marked successes and achievements for the past 5 years and outlined further ways of improving work for children.
