In East Kazakhstan, under the auspices of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan within the framework the the Single Day they summed up outcome of the discussion of constitutional reforms at the roundtable

The chairman of the judicial cases for criminal cases K. Chakpontayev and the judge of the regional court E. Zhumaksanov made speeches at the event.

Head of the Secretariat of the branch of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan A.Nurgaziyev, APK member, chairman of the Public Concordance Council L.Shik, deputy head of the regional department of internal policy I.Smit, representatives of the party "Nur Otan", the Department of Justice, prosecutors, professional mediators took part in the discussion.

In his speech, K. Chakpontayev dwelled in detail on those changes that affected the judicial system, not only in the Constitution, but also in other legislative acts.

E. Zhumaksanov within the framework of discussion of the development of mediation in the region brought to the attention of those present about the implementation by the Supreme Court of a pilot project for the implementation of pre-trial settlement of disputes (conflicts) in certain categories of disputes in the mediation procedure, as well as recommendations of the participants of the International Disputation Forum of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan "Role institute of mediation institute in ensuring public consent ".

The participants of the meeting decided to establish a working Coordination Council on mediation in order to promote this institution and solve emerging problems. Also came to an agreement on the exchange of information on the number of concluding conciliation agreements within the framework of the mediation offices in the Friendship Homes and Akimats.

At the end of the meeting the participants unanimously adopted the Recommendations of the participants of the International Dispute Forum of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, and specific proposals on active involvement of akims of all levels in the development and promotion of mediation were expressed by professional mediators.
