The judges discussed the issues of responsibility for aiding in a criminal offense in Aktau

The chairman of the Appeal judicial division for Criminal Cases of the Mangistau Regional Court Yerzhan Karabayev held a seminar on some issues of the application of legislation on liability for the implication of a crime and aiding in a criminal offense by courts.

The seminar was attended by the judges, the representatives of the advocacy and law enforcement agencies, non-governmental organizations and the media.

In his speech Ye. Karabayev noted that the Head of the State in the Message to the People of Kazakhstan "Strategy" Kazakhstan-2050 ": the new political course of the state" in 2012 stressed the necessity to improve the criminal justice system. In addition, the issues of reforming the criminal process and improving the law enforcement system are outlined in the Concept of the Legal Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the period from 2010 to 2020.

Ye. Karabayev reminded that the failure to report a well-known or seriously committed, serious crime or deliberately miscarried information to the relevant government agencies on a well-known terrorist act is a failure to fulfill legal obligations provided for by law. He also explained the concealment of the crime, concealment of the person who committed the crime, concealment and destruction of instruments and instruments of crime, concealment of traces and other evidence of the crime, as well as complicity in committing an offense, advice and indications of complicity, possession of property acquired knowingly by criminal means.

Also, Judge Zhanaozen City Court Darkhan Tursynbayev dwelled on materials related to the implication of committing an offense and providing assistance to a criminal who met in court practice within the framework of the seminar in detail.

During the seminar, Ye. Karabayev recalled the importance of explaining the responsibility provided for by the law for a knowingly false message to law enforcement agencies about serious crimes and terrorist bodies to the population. During the event, the judge answered all the questions of the participants.
