Judges of Astana city court greeted the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Torkin Alexander Petrovich happy birthday

On the eve of the Victory Day at the order of the chairman of Astana city T. Barpibayev the judiciary headed by the chairman of appeal judicial criminal board A. Kenzhegarin congratulated the veteran of judicial system, the participant of the Great Patriotic War Torkin Alexander Petrovich on the 96 anniversary and the coming 70 anniversary of the Victory.

Alexander Petrovich Torkin was born on April 29, 1919 in the village Vladykino of the Kamensk district of the Penza region in a large family of the worker.

In 1935-1939, i.e. to the 20 anniversary, he managed to get two vocational educations, to work as the teacher. From 1939 to August, 1945 he was in armed forces – since the beginning the participant of war with belofinna, and in 1941-45 on fronts of the Great Patriotic War, he passed from Moscow to Konigsberg. Since September, 1945 he worked in the Ministry of Justice of KAZSSR at various leading posts, and in 1956-62 - the chairman of Akmolinsky regional court. The last 20 years - the deputy manager of “Tselinkelektrosetstroy” trust.

Fighting feats and labor achievements of Alexander Torkin are appreciated by the state. He is awarded the order the Red Star, two awards of the Great Patriotic War" the 1st and 2nd degrees, the medals "For Defense of Moscow", "For Courage", "For Liberation of Poland", "For a Capture of Konigsberg", honourable breastplates of the Ministry of Justice of KAZSSR. It  is pleasant to note that Alexander Petrovich is the owner of one more special award: Medal of the Union of judges of RK "Ysh biy". This award is a sign of the highest degree of difference of the judge and is awarded for special progress at administration of justice, long-term work, faultless reputation, vigorous public work.

During a meeting the judges handed to the veteran the certificate from the refrigerator and money. They wished to the veteran a good health, wellbeing and long years of life.

In turn the veteran of war expressed gratitude to the judiciary for the given help expressed in carrying out capital repairs in the flat and acquisition of expensive drugs and also wished judges success in their work.
