The delegation of Kazakh judges took part in the IX All-Russian Congress of Judges

In the period from 6 to 8 December of the current year Kazakh delegation of judges headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Court Kairat Mami took part in the IX All-Russian Congress of Judges.

The forum was held with the participation of Russian President Putin V.V. in the Hall of Columns in Moscow. The congress is held every four years and gathers representatives of the judicial community from all over the Russian Federation.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan made a welcoming speech at the opening of Congress. He congratulated those present on the start, emphasized the special importance of a forum for the development of Russia's judicial system and the state as a whole. It was noted that recently in Kazakhstan held VII congress of judges of the Republic.

"By virtue of geographic proximity and common historical past Russia for us are main partner and ally in all areas of international cooperation. We have established excellent business and friendly relations with our Russian colleagues, thereby strengthening cooperation between the courts of our countries "- the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan noted in his opening speech.

Also K. Mami noted that Kazakhstan with great interest watches the ongoing judicial reform in Russia, studying the Russian approaches for possible borrowing of best practices in improving the Kazakh justice system. It expressed the belief that further development of judicial cooperation both at the bilateral level as well as in multilateral format will contribute to the overall stability, the strengthening of law and order of the two countries.

At the conclusion the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan wished the delegates and participants of the IX All-Russia Congress of the judges active and fruitful work, all the tasks on improvement of justice posed on the forum.

Also, the Kazakh delegation of judges on December 7 of the current year will participate in the 13th meeting of the Council of chairmen of Supreme Arbitrary, Economic and Other Courts, considering cases on disputes in the economic sphere (Council of chairmen).

In the agenda the matters on generalization of the judicial practice of States parties of the Council of the chairmen on mutual execution of court decisions on economic disputes, the concept of a single Procedure for consideration of Civil and Economic Affairs, some of the issues of forced liquidation of legal entities by the court.

The Council of chairmen includes the first leaders of the judicial systems of 8 countries: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan and Ukraine. Also with an advisory capacity to the Council includes the chairman of the CIS Economic Court and the chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Moldova.

The Council was established in 2002, meets once a year. The purpose of its creation - the further development of international cooperation and mutual legal assistance in economic disputes. One of the main tasks of the Council is to unite efforts for the implementation of courts decisions one state on the territory of another, the exchange of experience in the field of economic legislation and judicial norms in resolving economic disputes.
