At the past in Aktau "round table" on: "Mediation - the path to reconciliation," the judge of Mangistau regional court Gulazhar Bakytzhanova informed about it.
As G.Bakytzhanova noted, courts explain the rights of the parties to conclude a settlement agreement and the end of the case in order of mediation, their positive legal impact.
Professional mediators, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, the Regional Council of elders, the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, apparatus of akim of the region and the media took part in the "round table.
In the course of the meeting, the speakers talked about mediation as the mildest form of alternative dispute resolution. It was stressed: in the course of the procedure the parties participating in the conflict on their own come to a mutually acceptable solution, based on the experience, knowledge and skills of a mediator. Resolution of the dispute depends entirely on the will of the dispute themselves. In carrying out its environment, organization, regulation and process content can be defined individually. Mediation is focused not so much on the conflict (asking who is right and who is wrong) or a win, how to search for constructive solutions.
In the course of the discussion the respected elders expressed their positive opinion on the promotion of mediation, received satisfactory answers to their questions on the application of this legislation by the judge-mediator.
