The Chairman of the Supreme Court RK took part at a solemn meeting of a staff and Forum of graduates of Kazakh National University

Today the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan, President of the Association of graduates of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi Kairat Mami took part at a solemn meeting of a staff and Forum of graduates of Kazakh National University.

At the opening of a jubilee event – 80-th anniversary of Kazakh National University, K.Mami spoke with a welcome speech and noted that «The Association of graduates promotes the activity of the university in training of new formation specialists, in forming the system of mutually developing partnership of the university and community of its graduates. Graduates are potential employers, philanthropists and sponsors, consumers of additional education programs. The mission of the Association is strengthening of a corporate spirit of all generations of graduates of the university, in unity and social promotion of graduates».

The Association purposefully participates in making a positive image of the university, publishing materials in mass media about a professional career of KazNU graduates, arranging interviews, round tables on the radio and television.

For the purpose of propaganda of outstanding professional achievements of graduates, a book in two volumes “Our elite” about outstanding university graduates, who contributed to improvement and development of the first classical university of Kazakhstan and its transformation into a modern research university of a world level, who made contribution to development of a domestic fundamental and applied science, was for the first time prepared and published in the system of higher education of the country.

On behalf of graduates of Kazakh National University Kairat Mami wished students to become not only competent, professional specialists, but first of all, true patriots of Kazakhstan. 

The Chairman of the Supreme Court awarded Certificates of a jubilee scholarship to the best students of the university.
