In West Kazakhstan regional court discussed the application of the regulations of new criminal legislation

Today in West Kazakhstan regional court held a conference on the theme: "The application of the regulations of criminal, criminal procedure and criminal-executive legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

 The conference was attended by judges of regional, city, district and equivalent courts and employees of prosecutors of WKO, Uralsk city prosecutor's office, Uralsk transport prosecutor's office, Uralsk military prosecutor's office, Department of the Interior Affairs of region, criminal executive inspection, representatives of the Republic of Kazakhstan on MCLS and SR GP RK on statistical reporting.

The conference was opened by welcome speech the chairman of the appellate judicial board on criminal cases of West Kazakhstan regional court M.Nagashybaev.

It is known that in July of the current year, by the Head of the State is signed the new Criminal Code and Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which will apply from 1 January 2015.

In general, the expected effect from the introduction of new legal acts is to increase the confidence of citizens, empowering the court, procedural economy and the decline in the index of the prison population.

During the conference, the judge of the regional court N.Dildabekova made a report on some aspects of the new Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, also with the report "Some issues of currently in force and the new criminal legal procedure" spoke a judge of the regional court G.Kyrykbaev. The report "The investigating judge as a new subject of criminal procedure, the powers of an investigating judge" spoke a judge of Uralsk city court V.Dmitrienko.
