Judges of North Kazakhstan region summarized the results for the first half of 2014

Today in North Kazakhstan regional court held an extended meeting on the results of the administration of justice by the courts of the region for the first half 2014 with the participation of a judge judicial oversight board on criminal cases of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nuralin Daulen Dauletovich.

Opening the meeting, the chairman of the regional court Aketay M. noted that the activities of the courts of region focused exclusively on providing high-quality justice, the eradication of red tape and compliance with judicial ethics, strengthen public confidence in the judicial system, and to perform tasks set by the Head of State at the VI Congress of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan and specific assignments given by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan to implement them.

The courts of North-Kazakhstan region for six months of 2014 finished 9960 civil cases, with the decision was reviewed 6485 cases, with the termination of the proceedings - 1049 of them signed settlement agreements for 182 civil cases. 98.1% of the decisions handed down by courts of first instance are legitimate and reasonable. It shows the growth of public confidence in the judicial system. In connection with the intensification of work on the implementation of mediation court region was considered 50 cases with participation of mediators, whereas, for 2013 as a whole is considered only one case.

8134 administrative cases were considered by the courts of region for the first half 2014. Of these, 99.9% of judicial acts on administrative cases are legitimate and reasonable.

By the courts of region in criminal cases were completed 656 criminal cases in the first half of 2014. Of these, the sentencing examined 360 cases to 473 persons, 97.1% of them are legitimate and reasonable.

In order to further ensure full compliance with operational and quality of justice for all categories of cases, the chairman of the regional court M.Aketay demanded strict adherence to the established principles of proceedings, to protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities.

Also during the meeting, judge of the Supreme Court D.D.Nuralin set for the judges of region a number of tasks, including to increase the level of public confidence in the judicial system.

In general, it should be noted, improving the quality of the courts of region compared to the same period last year.
