The court recovered more than 100 million KZT from LLP for violation of the requirements of the environmental code in Mangystau Region

SIEC of Mangistau region granted a judgement of the regional Department of Ecology to recover from LLP 102 860 123 tenge as compensation for damage caused to the environment.

According to the results of the inspection conducted by the specialized environmental prosecutor's office, a violation of the LLP requirements of Article 321 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, namely at the temporary storage of hazardous waste sites, the partnership has placed 566.66 tons of oily waste without the relevant environmental permit had been detected.

The decision of the economic court did not come into force.
