The Court delivered its verdict against ex-Deputy Chairman of the Agency for sports and physical culture

Today at District Court No. 2 of the Esil district of Astana City announced the verdict against the former Deputy Chairman of Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for sports and physical culture Tumataeva A.S.

Tumataev A.S. was accused repeatedly of taking bribes in the form of money from a representative of JSC "Dan story", including 1 million tenge for the illegal signing of acts of works done on the construction of sports complex "Olympic training center" in Astana City.

During judicial debate the state accuser asked court to retrain Tumatayev A.S. actions on an episode of taking of a bribe of 1 million tenge on ch.2 Art. 366 in the new edition the criminal code of Kazakhstan who is put into operation since January 1, 2015 and to impose it sentence in the form of a penalty.

The state accuser behind an absence of proof refused charge on other episodes of taking of bribes, imputed to Tumatayev A.S. bodies of preliminary investigation. 

Sentence of court Tumatayev A.S. it is found guilty of taking of a bribe of 1 million tenges, that is of the crime provided by Art. 366 ch.2 the Criminal code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Sentence in the form of a penalty at a rate of the sixtyfold sum of the got bribe, that is 60 million tenges with confiscation of the property belonging personally to it, with deprivation of the right to hold positions in public service and in local governments for a period of 7 (seven) years is imposed to it.
