In Almaty region the verdict is passed against the former deputy akim of Tekeli

Tekeli city court of Almaty region considered the criminal case against the deputy akim of Tekeli B.Beldebekov accused under Art. 366 p. 1 of the Criminal Code (acceptance by a person holding a responsible public office, bribery in the form of money).

According to the materials of the case, deputy akim, being the chairman and the deputy in charge of the commission on land issues, he received a bribe in the amount of 55 000 tenge from the representative of IE K for the positive decision of the land commission on the proposal of land for conducting seasonal business on Tekeli territory

By the court verdict B.Beldebekov is found guilty in committing of a criminal offense and imposed him a punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a period up to 1 year and 6 months with serving punishment in a correction colony with confiscation of property obtained by criminal means, with lifelong deprivation of the right to hold public service in state bodies and public organizations.

The court sentence has not entered into legal force.
