The Supreme Court proceeded to implementation of a Unified state plan of actions on transition to a new model of criminal law and criminal judicial procedure

The Chairman of the Supreme Court approved the Plan of measures on implementation of a Unified state plan of actions on transition to a new model of criminal law and criminal judicial procedure, improved legislations of administrative violations and the system of execution of criminal punishments, approved by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 9 April 2014.

According to the indicated plan the Supreme Court jointly with other state authorities is planning to carry out a number of measures: on preparation of relative regulatory legal acts, monitoring of regulatory resolutions of the Supreme Court due to adoption of new editions of the Criminal Code, Criminal Procedure Code, Penal Execution Code and Code of Administrative Violations, analyzing normative standards of a load on courts of general criminal jurisdiction, specialized administrative courts due to transferring of a number of administrative violations to criminal infractions, and others.

The plan is sent also to regional and equal to them courts for execution.
